Wii Fit

My dad's birthday was this last week on Friday! From us kids he got a new game for the Wii,
Wii Fit! Its super fabulous! Its actually pretty challenging sometimes and it keeps track of where you were when you started the fitness thing and when you'll end it, its really cool. I'm bored.
I think I'll go see what the rest of my family is up to!

SYWTSDPHSNM!!!! (it had to be cooler than "ttfn")

I'll be getting my math test scores tomorrow, and if I pass that one I will have passed all my tests the first time taking them.
I is a happy camper! :D

Here we go!

I had an over the phone interview today for my very first job. I'm not entirely sure of WHAT I'll be doing because, first of all, I applied for the city of Portland and secondly, because there is still a job placement phone call that I'll be getting soon (hopefully).
While I was being interviewed the guy that I was talking to kept saying "good", "great", and "perfect" so I think it went well....I don't really know, however, because I've never had a job interview before.

I'm totally not worried about getting a job or getting into school anymore because God is totally here with me and walking me through this and helping me to be patient and just being there for me. I know I wouldn't be all "cool as a cucumber" if it weren't for Him.

The people at the Gateway orientation gave me a reading test just to see where I am. I needed at least a 7th grade reading level....I knew I was higher than that, I ended up getting a 9th grade and higher reading level. I even have the evaluations and an interview scheduled for
next week and the week after.

I very glad my name isn't Eddie McFersomhymer :)

Hazzah!!

New blogs is fun! This is kinda like my new phase blog, cause I'm coming out of one phase in my life and moving forward to something bigger and better! I'm going to an orientation for the Gateway to College thing at PCC today, and hopefully ( Lord willing) I get in. If I do get in I'll get double credits, that is, I'll get high school credits AND college credits. :D
My teacher asked me to write a column in our class newspaper, and she's putting a poem that I wrote in the newspaper too. So I'm kind of getting a teeny tiny taste of journalism at school. Speaking of school, I only have one more GED test (that I'll be taking next Wednesday) and then I will have graduated the ABE/GED program that I'm in.
I'm really learning a lot in school...what a concept! I'm also really excited about what the future holds for me. But I am a little apprehensive too, I mean going straight from home school to college is a big leap. It can be done...and I know that its going to be difficult sometimes and I just need to buckle down no matter how much I feel like doing something else. I need to set my priorities, make a schedule, and then follow it.
But I can't help but wonder........Am I biting off more than I can chew???
