I'm married!!!

I haven't given my poor lonely blog attention in a long time. So, here's whats been going on and what is going on!

1) My family and Charlie's family helped us finish planning our wedding!
2) Charlie and I got married!! Yay!! Hooray!! Hoopla!!!
3) We spent Thanksgiving with my side of the family!
4) We spent Christmas Eve with my in-laws and Christmas Day with my side of the family!
5) We are currently at my parents' house awaiting the New Year!

Pictures aren't my strong suite, so you might just have to look at my mother's blog to see some.

So...anyways...

I'm sitting here while my husband and everyone older than 10 is playing a game called Smart....Donkey....(I'm not sposed to say THAT type of word, mother says so)
My mother-in-law made slush for me to bring for everyone to enjoy =) I'm happy she did, and very thankful.

I don't really have much to say anymore..so...any questions??

so many things..

There have been so many things going on its crazy. Like, planning a wedding, starting school, and trying to help take care of the nieces and nephews who are at my house.

Wedding planning hasn't been too terrible. The biggest things to me right now are: getting my dress cleaned, getting the rings, and getting the flower girl and bridesmaids dresses done. Everything else is falling into place nicely =)

School isn't too bad. I'm only taking one class this term. History 201 at PCC. Its been a pretty good first week.

With a lot of family in the house its sometimes hard to focus on one thing, but that's where having lots of siblings who are willing to help comes in handy. Thank the Lord for being so great and helping everyone (especially my parents) to be able to handle everything that's going on in their lives.

Life is insane sometimes. Ups and downs aren't always fun, but that's what happens. It's just life. And I love my crazy, hectic, sometimes not so fun, amazingly blessed life =)

P.S. Next thing to look forward to: bridal showers =D

Big Happenings

Guess what...I'M ENGAGED!!! =D To the most amazing guy. Charles A. Domina. He loves God, is sweet and caring, and loves me for me =)

One of our favorite paces to go is the Oregon Coast, cause hey, its the Oregon Coast!!

And thats where he proposed!
It was Sunday the 16th and his family and I had just gone to the beach like two weeks before, so it was kinda odd that we were going again, but I didn't really give it a second thought.

So we get there and Charlie's parents tell us that they're just gonna sit on a blanket near the big rock at Cannon Beach, and that we can go pretty much anywhere. That was the first thing that hinted that he was going to ask, because we normally don't separate when we go places all together. Then Charlie said that we were going to wander "that way" which was away from his parents (second hint). So we walked a little ways and came to a small log and he said we should sit down because his legs were tired from work (third hint). We sat down and talked a little bit and then he said "I love you. You know that, right?" and I said "Yes, I love you too" and then he kinda spun himself off the log and down onto one knee and opened a ring box (fourth hint). Then he said "Courtney Paige Hilman?" and I squeaked "yes?" with my hands over my mouth and then he asked "will you marry me?" and I said "yes!" Then I clumsily took my Promise ring off my left hand and put it onto my right, and he put the Engagement ring on my finger. Then we hugged =)

Then we went back to where his parents were, his mom was taking pictures of us walking towards them until we got to the blanket =P
Then we all went out to lunch/dinner =)

So thats my news for now. Thank you to all who have been giving their support! We really appreciate it =)

Wow

I was looking at posts from 2008..I was really excited about school then. I am now, but only cause I got 2 A's and I know I can do it. I just had a ton of motivation back when I got into Gateway, which is cool and helped me a lot in doing as well as I did the first 2 terms that I was at PCC.
Next term I'm taking a history class (ancient to medieval), a science class (volcano's and their activity), and boot camp (an intense PE class). I'm pretty excited =)
I guess that's all for now. I'm like really hungry so I is gonna go eat sumfin =)
